Brunch Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 slices bread
    1/2 c. butter
    2 lb. bacon, crisp fried and crumbled
    2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    8 eggs
    1 qt. milk
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 c. crushed cornflakes
Preparation
    Toast bread; spread with butter.
    Cut toasted bread into cubes.
    Layer toast cubes, bacon and cheese 1/2 at a time in 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
    Beat eggs in large bowl.
    Add milk, salt and pepper; beat until smooth.
    Pour over layers.
    Chill overnight. Sprinkle with cornflakes.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 45 minutes to 1 hour or until brown and set.
    Yield:
    12 servings.
