Fried Squash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. yellow squash, peeled and sliced
    salt and pepper to taste
    1/2 to 1 c. flour
Preparation
    Place sliced squash in large bowl with lid.
    Add salt, pepper and 1/2 to 1 cup flour.
    Shake bowl to coat the squash.
    Place in the refrigerator for 1/2 hour or overnight.
    Drain excess liquid from bowl.
    Place squash slices in hot grease and fry.
    `Best flavor results from bacon drippings.
    Serve browned and piping hot.
