"Spoon" Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. corn meal
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1 1/2 c. boiling water
    1 egg, beaten
    2 c. milk
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
    1 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Put corn meal and butter in a mixing bowl.
    Add boiling water. Stir until moistened.
    Beat in egg and milk.
    Combine baking powder, salt, flour and sugar.
    Beat into batter.
    Pour into a greased 1 1/2-quart baking dish.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 for about 30 minutes or until set and browned.
