Microwave Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. raw peanuts
    1/2 c. white corn syrup
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. oleo
Preparation
    In 1 1/2-quart casserole, stir together peanuts, syrup and salt.
    Cook 8 minutes on High, stirring after 4 minutes.
    After cooking is complete, add oleo and vanilla.
    Cook 1 minute longer on High.
    Add baking soda and stir quickly until light and foamy. Immediately pour out onto lightly buttered baking sheet or piece of foil.
    Spread thin.
    Cool 1 hour.
    Store in airtight container.
