Jam Cake Filling And Icing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 eggs
    1 c. blackberry jam
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 c. butter
    1 c. raisins
    2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. soda (add to buttermilk)
    1 tsp. each allspice and nutmeg
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. fresh ground coconut
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar; add eggs, jam, raisins and coconut. Sift dry ingredients together.
    Add alternately with buttermilk which has soda in it.
    Bake in 3 greased and floured layer cake pans at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until cake springs back when touched.
    Cool, fill and ice.
