Stuffed Calamari - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. squid
    1 small onion
    2 Tbsp. olive oil
    salt and pepper
    1 to 1 1/2 qt. tomato sauce
    2 garlic cloves
    4 oz. bread crumbs
    fresh parsley
    oregano
Preparation
    Slowly heat tomato sauce.
    Meanwhile, in medium-size bowl, soak bread crumbs and drop of water to dampen.
    Set aside.
    Clean squid bodies and legs thoroughly.
    Soak in cold water until ready to use. Finely chop onion and garlic; saute in olive oil.
    When onions are soft, mix the mixture into bread crumbs; add parsley, oregano, salt and pepper.
    Loosely stuff squid bodies with mixture.
    Close open end with toothpick.
    Raise temperature of sauce and add squid. Cook, covered, for 10 minutes.
    Serve over spaghetti.
    Serves 4 to 6.
