Granny'S Banana Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 c. plain flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3 large ripe bananas
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Beat mashed bananas for a few minutes to make they soupy. Cream shortening and sugar together; add eggs, one at a time.
    Add flour and beat until flour disappears.
    Add bananas, nuts and vanilla.
    Bake in greased and floured loaf pan for 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
