Baking Powder Biscuits(Granny Andress Cookbook) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    3 tsp. baking powder
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. soft shortening
    3/4 c. milk
Preparation
    Combine and sift dry ingredients.
    Cut in shortening (well). Add milk.
    Mix with fork until dry ingredients are moist.
    Turn onto lightly floured board.
    Knead gently 6 to 8 times.
    Roll dough 1/2 to 3/4-inch thick for fluff biscuits.
    Cut with floured 2-inch round cutter.
    Arrange on lightly greased baking sheet.
    Bake in hot oven at 450\u00b0 until done, about 15 to 20 minutes.
