Fresh Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 (3 oz.) box strawberry jello (dry)
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 c. water
    1 1/2 lb. fresh strawberries
    1 cooled pie shell
    Cool Whip
Preparation
    Mix jello, sugar and cornstarch. Add water.
    Cook on medium-high until thickened, about 5 minutes.
    Cool.
    Add cleaned berries to glaze.
    Pour into pie shell.
    Top with Cool Whip. This is also good with fresh peaches and peach jello.
