Fantastic Make-Ahead Butterhorns - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. dry yeast
    1/3 c. warm water
    9 c. flour, divided
    2 c. warm milk
    1 c. soft shortening
    1 c. sugar
    6 eggs
    2 tsp. salt
    3 to 4 Tbsp. margarine
Preparation
    In your largest mixing bowl, dissolve yeast in water.
    Add 4 cups of flour, milk, shortening, sugar, eggs and salt; beat for 2 minutes or until smooth.
    Add enough flour to form a soft dough. Turn onto floured board; knead lightly about 10 minutes.
    Place in greased bowl, turning once to grease top.
    Cover and let rise 2 to 3 hours or until doubled.
    Punch dough down; divide into 4 equal parts.
    Roll each into a 9-inch circle.
    Cut each circle like crescent rolls.
    You can then freeze on baking sheet.
    When frozen, put in plastic bag.
    When ready to use, thaw for 5 hours until doubled in size.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
    Butter tops.
