Italian Roast Beef - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. rump roast
    1 tsp. each: salt and pepper
    3/4 c. dry red wine
    2 tsp. minced garlic
    3/4 tsp. thyme
    2 tsp. oil
    1/2 c. beef broth
    3/4 c. chopped onion
    3/4 tsp. nutmeg
    2 Tbsp. parsley
Preparation
    Rub roast with oil and rub in salt and pepper all over the surface.
    Cover in a deep roasting pan and bake 1 hour at 350\u00b0. Remove from oven, turn roast over and mix remaining ingredients and pour over roast.
    Cover again and return to oven.
    Continue baking for 1 1/2 hours more.
    Remove from oven, uncover and let stand 15 minutes before slicing and serving.
