Easy Tortoni - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. coconut pudding and pie filling
    1 1/4 c. milk
    1/3 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. almond extract or 1/2 tsp. rum extract
    1/4 c. chopped maraschino cherries
    1 c. heavy cream or Cool Whip
    1/4 c. toasted coconut
Preparation
    Combine pudding, milk and sugar in saucepan.
    Stir over medium heat until it comes to a full boil.
    Remove from heat and cover with wax paper.
    Chill.
    Beat pudding; add extract and cherries. Fold whip cream into pudding.
    Pour into cups; top with coconut and freeze until firm.
