Devil Dogs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. Crisco
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. flour
    1/2 c. cocoa
    1 1/4 tsp. baking soda
    3/4 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. milk
Preparation
    Cream Crisco with sugar.
    Add egg and vanilla.
    Sift flour, add cocoa, baking soda, baking powder and salt to flour.
    Add to creamed mixture, alternately with milk.
    Drop by teaspoon on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 for 8 minutes.
    Cool.
    Put together with cream filling between.
