Cracker Jack - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or margarine
    2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. white Karo
    1/2 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Cook margarine or butter, brown sugar and Karo for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and add soda; mix thoroughly.
    Pour over popped corn.
    Stir until all corn is coated.
    Put in shallow pan and bake at 200\u00b0 for 1 hour (stir every 15 minutes).
    Add nuts if desired. This will keep crisp if put in an airtight container.
