Beef Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    oil for browning meat
    1 1/2 lb. round or sirloin steak
    6 potatoes, peeled and sliced lengthwise
    1 large onion, cut in rings
    1 can mushroom soup
    1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Cut steak into small pieces; salt and pepper and dredge in flour. Brown to golden color in skillet.
    Pour off excess oil. Cover with onion rings and potatoes; salt and pepper as desired. Add water to soup and mix.
    Pour over meat, potatoes and onion rings. Cover and cook over low heat until tender.
