Zucchini Pickles - Sweet - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    16 cups peeled zucchini cut in 1 1/2 inch pieces
    3 tablespoons lime
    1 gallon water
    10 cup sugar
    2 quarts vinegar
    1 teaspoon celery seed
    1 teaspoon pickling spice
    1 teaspoon salt
Preparation
    Boil together for 10 minutes.
    You can add green food coloring (1 tablespoon).
    Let stand overnight and then bring to a boil and boil all together for 30 to 35 minutes or until zucchini is clear looking.
    Pack in hot jars and seal.
