Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. white Karo
    1/4 c. water
    2 c. (1 lb. bag) raw peanuts
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Cook first 4 ingredients in a 10-inch skillet.
    Cook until peanuts crack and get thick and dark in color.
    Add baking soda, stir well and pour into buttered cookie sheet (12 x 18-inch).
    Have soda ready, pan buttered, to pour and spread candy.
