Wolfe'S Cornbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. yellow cornmeal
1 c. flour
1/4 c. sugar
4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg
1 c. milk
1/4 c. shortening, melted
Preparation

Sift together dry ingredients.
Add egg, milk and shortening; beat until smooth.
Bake in 8-inch square greased pan for 20 to 25 minutes in 425\u00b0 oven.
Serve hot with butter and honey.
