Cucumber Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. cucumbers, peeled and sliced 1/4-inch thick (about 3 cucumbers)
    1/2 c. scallions, sliced 1/8-inch thick
    1 c. green bell pepper strips
    1/2 c. boiling onions, sliced into rings
    1 c. vinegar
    1/3 c. vegetable oil
    1/2 c. ice water
    1/2 c. dill pickle juice
    2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
    1 c. cherry tomatoes, halved
Preparation
    Whisk together vinegar, oil, water, pickle juice, salt and pepper.
    Lightly toss all ingredients, except tomatoes, with dressing.
    Refrigerate.
    Add tomatoes as garnish when serving.
