Raisin Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. packed raisins
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/3 c. sugar
    2 egg whites or 1 whole egg
    1 1/2 c. milk
    10 Tbsp. flour
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Barely cover raisins with water and 1/4 cup sugar in saucepan. Bring to a boil.
    Reduce heat and cover.
    Cook until raisins are plump and tender.
    In separate bowl, mix flour and 1/3 cup sugar. Add 1/2 cup milk.
    Mix well.
    Gradually add remaining milk.
    Add egg whites and mix.
    Slowly add mix to raisins while they are still cooking.
    Cook until thick.
    Remove from heat and add butter.
    Allow to cool a little, then add vanilla.
    Pour into baked pie crust.
