Peter Paul Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box Duncan Hines devil's food cake mix
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. milk
    12 large marshmallows
    2 pkg. fine grated coconut
    1 tsp. vanilla
    chocolate frosting
Preparation
    Bake cake as directed on box. Cool on cake rack.
    Split layers.
    Mix sugar and milk in saucepan. Bring to a boil.
    Boil 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Add marshmallows, coconut and vanilla. Spread between layers.
    Frost with your favorite chocolate frosting.
