Cold Oven Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    3 c. all-purpose flour
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    2 sticks butter
    5 eggs
    1 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Cream the sugar, butter and shortening. Add eggs, one at a time.
    Beat after each. Add flour and milk alternately. Add vanilla and baking powder.
    Pour into greased Bundt or tube pan. Place in cold oven. Turn heat to 325\u00b0 and bake 1 hour and 15 minutes, longer if necessary. Cool and remove from pan.
