Banana Fritters - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. all-purpose flour
2 tsp. sugar
pinch of salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 c. milk
1 egg
1 Tbsp. melted margarine
1 tsp. vanilla extract
3 large bananas, cut in big chunks
corn oil (for deep frying)
Preparation

Beat together first eight ingredients.
Batter should be smooth and the consistency of pancake batter.
Heat two inches of oil to 375\u00b0.
Dip banana chunks into the batter and drop them into the hot oil.
Fry for 5 to 6 minutes or until golden brown.
Drain on paper towels.
Serve warm, sprinkled with confectioners sugar.
