Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium head cabbage
    4 to 6 slices bacon or 4 to 6 slices fatback
Preparation
    Fry bacon.
    Clean and cut up the cabbage.
    Wash the cabbage and put it in the pot with the bacon and drippings.
    Cook with high heat, constantly stirring, until all cabbage pieces are coated with bacon drippings.
    Lower heat and cook until just tender but still crisp.
    Season to taste with salt and pepper.
