Creamy Cauliflower Cheese Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 to 5 carrots, diced
2 stalks celery, diced
3 potatoes, diced
1 onion, chopped
butter
1 head fresh cauliflower, cut up or 10 oz. pkg. frozen cauliflower
1/3 c. flour
2 c. chicken broth
1 c. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
2 c. milk
pepper
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
5 strips bacon, fried and crumbled
Preparation

Saute celery, onion and carrots in butter in a large soup kettle for 3 to 5 minutes.
Add potatoes and chicken broth.
Add cauliflower and simmer until tender.
Mix flour in milk until smooth; add pepper and mustard and add broth.
Add cheese and bacon.
Stir until melted and blended.
Do not boil.
Serves 6 to 8.
