Pea Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can French-style green beans
    1 can party style peas
    1 small can/jar pimento
    1 large green pepper
    1 large onion
    2 stalks celery
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. hot water
    1 c. vinegar
    1/2 c. salad oil
Preparation
    Dissolve sugar in hot water.
    Add vinegar and salad oil.
    Pour over vegetables.
    Let stand overnight in refrigerator.
    Drain before serving.
