Sour Cream Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 sticks butter or margarine
1/2 c. Crisco
3 c. sugar
5 eggs
3 c. cake flour (I like Softasilk)
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. milk
1/2 pt. sour cream
2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

All ingredients should be at room temperature.
Especially eggs and butter.
Cream butter, sugar and Crisco with electric mixer on medium until smooth and sugar has begun to dissolve.
Add eggs one at a time and mix until each yolk disappears.
Sift flour and baking powder.
Lower mixer speed to low to add flour alternating with milk, being careful not to overmix.
Add sour cream to mixture and vanilla.
Pour into pound cake pan and bake at 325\u00b0 for 70 minutes or until toothpick inserted is clean.
