Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening or 1 stick oleo
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    4 Tbsp. buttermilk
    2 eggs
    3 bananas, mashed
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. baking powder
    2 c. plain flour
    1 c. nuts
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Cream together the butter and sugar. Mix together the 3 dry ingredients.
    Add vanilla, buttermilk and 2 eggs.
    Rotate, adding dry ingredients and bananas to creamed mixture, stirring well after each addition.
    Add nuts last.
    Grease and flour pan.
    Cook 1 hour to 1 hour and 15 minutes.
