Beef And Cheese Crescent Pie(Deep Dish Pizza) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 lb. ground beef
    1/3 c. chopped onion
    1/4 c. chopped green pepper
    1 (9 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1/4 tsp. garlic salt
    1/4 to 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 (8 oz.) can refrigerated crescent rolls
    2 c. grated cheese (Monterey Jack, sharp Cheddar or Mozzarella; divided use)
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    paprika
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Grease bottom and sides of deep dish pan. Brown ground beef, onion and green pepper. Drain.
    Add tomato sauce and salts.
    Press rolls over bottom and sides of greased pan. Seal edges together.
    Mix 1 cup grated cheese and egg. Spread over rolls. Top with meat mixture.
    Sprinkle remaining 1 cup grated cheese over meat.
    Sprinkle lightly with paprika.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
    Let stand for 5 minutes for easier cutting. Cut in wedges.
