Sangria Soul Style - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 oranges, sliced
    1 lime, sliced
    1 lemon, sliced
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. brandy
    1 (24 oz.) bottle Spanish red wine or California Burgundy
    3 Tbsp. lemon juice
    3 c. soda water
Preparation
    Place sliced fruit
    into
    a
    very large pitcher or jug. Mix sugar and
    brandy
    together until sugar dissolves and pour over fruit.
    Let stand
    at
    room temperature for 1 hour.
    Pour in red wine and lemon juice;
    stir and let stand another hour. Just before serving, add ice cubes and soda water;
    stir until thoroughly chilled and serve.
    Makes 8 servings.
