Shanty Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (40 oz.) can butter beans
    1 (1 lb.) brown sugar
    3/4 lb. bacon
Preparation
    Cut bacon into 1 1/2-inch pieces and fry.
    Drain 1/2 of the grease.
    Drain beans and add with brown sugar to bacon and grease. Cook for 1/2 hour until thick.
    Serves 6.
