Mushroom Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. unsalted butter
    2 (8 oz.) pkg. fresh mushrooms
    1 large onion, sliced
    2 (10 3/4 oz.) cans cream of mushroom soup (undiluted)
    2 (10 1/2 oz.) cans beef consomme (undiluted)
Preparation
    Melt butter in saucepan and cook onion and mushrooms.
    Stir in soups.
    Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer 25 minutes. Yields 8 cups.
