Hamburger Barley Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. hamburger
    2 pt. cooked tomatoes
    1 c. pearl barley
    7 c. water
    chopped celery, onions, carrots, cabbage, potatoes and any other vegetables to taste (string beans, corn, okra, broccoli, peas)
    lite soy sauce
Preparation
    Cook hamburger until browned.
    Combine all ingredients except soy sauce and simmer in stockpot for 1 to 2 hours.
    Add soy sauce to taste.
    (I use this instead of bouillon cubes, as it is less salty.)
