Sauerbraten - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small beef roast or stewing beef
    salt and pepper
    1/3 c. brown sugar
    1 can beef broth or 1 bouillon cube with 1 c. water
    1/3 c. vinegar
    2 onions, sliced
    8 gingersnaps, crumbled
    1 lb. noodles, cooked
Preparation
    Place all ingredients except noodles in the crock-pot.
    Cook on High for 4 to 6 hours until the meat falls apart.
    Serve over noodles.
