Pralines - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. white sugar
    1 c. brown sugar, packed
    pinch of salt
    1/2 tsp. butter
    8 Tbsp. cold water
    2 c. pecans
    1/4 tsp. maple flavoring
Preparation
    Put sugar, water and salt in saucepan.
    As soon as it starts to boil, add pecans and cook about six minutes.
    Add flavoring and butter.
    Beat until it begins to lose the shiny appearance and immediately drop by tablespoons onto waxed paper.
    This is really very easy, but takes a time or two to know when to start dropping. Have waxed paper ready before beginning to make candy.
