Bologna Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. milk
    1 lb. dates
    2 c. coconut
    1/2 c. nuts
Preparation
    Boil sugar and milk together until it forms a soft ball in cold
    water.
    Add dates;
    cook until it leaves side of pan. Take off
    fire
    and
    add
    nuts and coconut.
    Beat until thick. Wring a cloth
    out\tof cold water and shape candy on this in a roll.
    Roll up and let stand overnight or several hours.
