Affy Tapple Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 Tbsp. flour
1/2 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. instant tapioca
1 8 oz. can crushed pineapple drained (reserve juice)
4 apples cored and chopped
2 c. unsalted peanuts
1 8 oz. frozen whipped topping thawed
2 Tbsp. cider vinegar
Preparation

In a medium sauce pan, stir together flour, sugar, tapioca, vinegar and reserved pineapple juice.
Cook over medium heat until thickens, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and chill.\tIn a large bowl, combine the pineapple, apples, peanuts and chilled tapioca mixture. Fold in whipped topping and chill for at least one hour before serving.
Makes 12 servings. 281 calories per serving.
