Old Fashioned Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 1/2 sticks butter
3 c. sugar
5 large eggs or 6 muffins
2 3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 c. half and half cream
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. lemon
Preparation

Cream butter, sugar and eggs.
In separate bowl add flour with baking powder and salt.
Add this gradually to first mixture with half and half cream.
Beat until it is mixed well and then add vanilla and lemon.
Cook in preheated oven at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour. Check to be sure it is done by using a toothpick.
