Irish Soda Bread(Makes 1 Loaf) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. dry yeast
    1/4 c. very warm water
    2 1/2 c. unsifted flour
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. caraway seed
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    2 Tbsp. butter
    3/4 c. buttermilk
    1/2 c. raisins

Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in warm water; set aside.
    Combine 1 cup flour, sugar, salt, caraway seed and baking soda in large mixing bowl. Stir in dissolved yeast.
    Melt butter in small saucepan, then heat buttermilk.
    Add to yeast mixture and beat well.
    Add remaining 1 1/2 cups flour to make a soft dough with mixture leaving sides of bowl.
    Stir in raisins.
    Cover and let rise in warm place until double in bulk, about 1 hour.
