Overnight Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pkg. yeast
1 qt. milk, scalded (4 c.)
1 c. sugar
13 to 14 c. flour
1/2 c. warm water
1 c. shortening, melted and cooled
3 tsp. salt
Preparation

Scald milk.
Add shortening and it will melt as it cools. Dissolve yeast in warm water.
Add cooled milk, shortening and sugar.
Stir well.
Gradually add 12 cups flour, kneading in with hands.
Cover with plastic wrap and put in cold oven to rise overnight, 8 to 14 hours.
