Date And Nut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. dates, cut
1 tsp. soda
1 c. hot water
1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
butter (the size of an egg)
1 c. chopped walnuts
1 1/2 c. flour
Preparation

Cut dates in small pieces and put in mixing bowl; put soda in cup of hot water and pour over dates and cool.
Add sugar, butter, egg,
walnuts, vanilla and flour and mix real well.
Pour in greased and floured loaf pan and bake 1 1/2 hours at a temperature of 350\u00b0.
