Bread Turkey Stuffing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 to 10 c. bread
    1 c. Crisco oil
    3/4 c. onion
    1 1/2 c. celery
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
    1 Tbsp. sage
    3 Tbsp. water
Preparation
    Saute onion, oil and celery.
    Add salt, pepper and sage while breaking up bread in big bowl.
    Let sauteed ingredients cool. Pour sauteed ingredients onto bread; mix thoroughly.
    Add water. Clean turkey, stuff, tie off and cook as directed.
    Makes 3 quarts in a 12-pound turkey.
