Ranch Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. buttermilk, lukewarm
    1/2 c. liquid shortening
    1 pkg. yeast, dissolved in 1/2 c. warm water
    5 c. flour
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/3 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    4 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Combine the buttermilk, liquid shortening and dissolved yeast; mix.
    Add
    to this the remaining ingredients.
    Stir and mix well. Pour
    out
    onto
    floured board; sprinkle flour over the top of dough
    as
    you make biscuits.
    Place well apart on greased cookie sheet.
    Let
    rise
    20
    to 45 minutes.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 to 375\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
