Southern Catfish Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 medium-sized catfish
    1/2 lb. salt pork, cubed
    1 lb. onion, cubed
    2 lb. potatoes
    1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Simmer fish in 6-quart pan with enough water to cover fish. Cook for 35 to 45 minutes.
    Remove fish from broth and bone.
    Fry pork until brown.
    Place fish, pork, onion and potatoes in broth. Cook until tender.
    Add remaining ingredients and simmer for 20 minutes.
    Serves 15.
