Seafood Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (16 oz.) pkg. frozen cod, flounder or haddock fillets
    2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1 medium green pepper, cut in strips
    1 small onion, sliced
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1 stalk celery, sliced
    1 (16 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
    1 (8 oz.) bottle clam juice
    1/4 tsp. basil
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 (10 oz.) can minced clams (undrained)
Preparation
    Cut frozen fish into chunks; set aside.
    Combine oil, green pepper, celery, onion and garlic in skillet; cook until tender. Add fish, tomatoes, clam juice, basil, salt and pepper in large pot; cook until fish is tender (done when fish is flaky).
    Add clams and liquid; stir.
    Add remaining ingredients (green pepper, celery and onion).
    Cook for 1 hour.
    Serve with fresh baked bread.
    Makes 5 to 6 servings.
