Chicken With Artichokes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 slices bacon
    8 oz. tiny white pearl onions, peeled
    8 oz. mushrooms, thickly sliced
    9 oz. frozen artichoke hearts, defrosted
    3 cloves garlic minced
    3 chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes
    2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
    salt and pepper to taste
    6 Tbsp. butter
    1/4 c. flour
    1 c. milk
    1 c. Chablis
    2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
    1/2 tsp. dried tarragon
    1/4 tsp. thyme
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 c. shredded Gruyere cheese
    hot cooked rice
Preparation
    In a heavy skillet, cook bacon until crisp.
    Remove bacon and drain.
    Add onions, mushrooms, artichoke hearts and garlic to the drippings in the pan.
    Saute for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
