German Chocolate Upside-Down Cake - cooking recipe

1 c. shredded coconut
1 c. chopped pecans
1 (18 1/4 oz.) box German chocolate cake mix
1/4 lb. (1 stick) margarine
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 (16 oz.) box confectioners sugar
Preparation

In spite of the name, this cake cannot be inverted onto a platter because the gooey bottom that makes it delicious also makes it stick to the pan.
However, individual pieces can be served upside down.
