Banana Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/3 c. shortening
2 eggs, well beaten
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. chopped nuts
2/3 c. sugar
1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. well-mashed bananas (3 or 4 bananas)
Preparation

Cream shortening well.
Beat in sugar and eggs.
Combine well. Combine dry ingredients and add to first mixture, alternating with bananas.
Beat well after each addition.
Pour into greased 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 to 55 minutes.
