Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. white sugar
    1/2 c. light corn syrup
    dash of salt
    1 1/2 c. raw peanuts
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Combine sugar, corn syrup and salt in a 2-quart glass mixing bowl.
    Microwave 7 to 8 minutes.
    The mixture will be bubbly. Quickly stir in peanuts, butter and vanilla.
    Microwave 2 to 3 minutes.
    Add baking soda and stir just until mixture is foamy. Pour immediately onto a greased cookie sheet.
    Let cool 15 to 20 minutes before breaking into pieces.
