Southern Pecan Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 eggs
dash of salt
1/3 c. melted butter
1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
2/3 c. sugar
1 c. dark Karo corn syrup
1 1/2 c. whole pecans
Preparation

Beat eggs thoroughly with sugar, salt, syrup and melted butter.
Place pecans in bottom of shell and pour mixture over them.
Allow to sit 3 to 5 minutes for pecans to come to the top. (Note:
Be sure all pecans are wet with mixture or they will burn.)
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 minutes or until knife inserted halfway between center and edge of pie comes out clean.
